Blast From the Past Meets Web 2.0

From "the bearded-dude-meets-hot young-socialite" department: yes, you can Twitter form the command line. Jack Wallen posts a How-To for Twittering with Twidge.

His well-written article is here.

It seems almost an oxymoron. On the other hand, some might view Twidge as a euphoria of CLI goodness. To each their own. I know many Linux users who prefer to do anything via the CLI (Command Line Interface), if possible. That's definitely not me (I prefer my Linux software wrapped in KDE / QT sexiness, but to each their own, right?)

On the Twidge FAQ page, it also states that the app can be used for and can also be run on a Mac.

I was going to post some screenshots,'s the CLI. So you get the idea.

Let me know if you use Twidge, or why you would use it. It's in the Mint / Kubuntu / Ubuntu repositories.

You can also follow me on Twitter, and message me via Twidge =)
